Quick Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can chili con carne
    2 c. iceberg lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 green onions, sliced
    1 medium tomato, diced
    1 1/2 c. tortilla chips or corn chips
    1 (7 oz.) can green chili salsa (if desired) or 3/4 c. Thousand Island dressing
Preparation
    In a small skillet, heat chili con carne.
    Prepare lettuce, cheese, onions and tomatoes.
    In medium serving bowl, layer ingredients as follows:
    chips, lettuce, chili, cheese, onions and tomatoes.
    Toss together.
    Top with either green chili salsa or Thousand Island dressing.
    Makes 2 servings.
