Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. catsup
1 loaf French bread, cut lengthwise
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Brown beef and drain off fat.
Add onion, pepper, soup, catsup, Parmesan cheese, salt, oregano and garlic.
Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
Spread mixture on French bread and top with Cheddar cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese bubbles.
