Black Bread Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    pinch of nutmeg
    pinch of cinnamon
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 c. dark beer
    4 slices black bread
    1 c. sour cream (for garnish)
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine broth, lemon peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and beer.
    Bring to a boil, then lower heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
    Line a warmed soup tureen with the slices of bread.
    Pour in the soup.
    Serve with sour cream on the side.
    Serves 4.
