Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter-flavored Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add molasses and egg.
Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients.
Roll in small balls and roll in extra sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet (350\u00b0 oven for about 5 minutes each shelf).
Makes 4 dozen.
