Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix by hand, sugar, flour, soda, salt and egg.
    Add drained fruit cocktail and mix until moistened.
    Put half of nuts in greased 8-inch pan.
    Add mixture and spread evenly.
    Mix brown sugar and rest of nuts.
    Spread on top.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
