Beef Roast(Marinated) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. roast
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. mace
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. water
    2 medium onions, chopped or 1 Tbsp. onion powder
    2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients and rub into meat on both sides.
    Place in baking dish and dribble the lemon juice, vinegar and salad oil over meat.
    Cover dish and turn meat occasionally for 4 hours or more.
    (I let meat marinate overnight.)
    Cover meat with sliced onions.
    Add water and bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
