Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    6 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. coconut flavoring
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. coconut flakes
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a tube pan.
    Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and eggs alternately, mixing well.
    Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 1 hour.
    Cool on rack 5 minutes and turn onto serving platter.
    Yields 16 slices.
