Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine in bowl of electric mixer flour, soda, salt, baking powder, sugar and margarine.
    Beat at medium speed until mixture is of a mealy consistency.
    Slowly add the buttermilk, vanilla and mashed banana.
    Mix 4 minutes or until light and fluffy.
    Add the slightly beaten eggs in two parts, beating after each addition; fold in nuts.
    Place in two greased and floured 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake is brown and springs back when touched lightly, about 25 minutes.
    Remove cake from pan as soon as taken from oven. Cool, top side up, on a wire rack or towel.
