Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1 beaten egg
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 beaten eggs
3/4 to 1 box confectioners sugar

Preparation

Spread cake mix, butter and 1 egg in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cream cheese, eggs and sugar and spread over cake mixture. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
