Japanese Fried Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork rib chops (1/2-inch thick), boned
    1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. grated ginger root
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oil
    cornstarch
    1 c. very hot oil
Preparation
    Remove fat from pork chops; score each piece, making diamond-shaped cuts.
    Pound pieces to about 1/8-inch thick. Place in a shallow baking dish.
