Chocolate Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks margarine
    2 c. Quick oats
    1 tsp. soda
    64 caramels
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    12 oz. bag chocolate chips
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients, except caramels and chocolate chips, until crumbly.
    Put 2/3 of mixture in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, greased.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips over.
    Set aside.
    Melt the 64 caramels and 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of milk until creamy.
    Pour over the chocolate chips.
    Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
    Bake 15 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
    Cool completely before cutting.
