Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
water
Preparation

Pour flour into bowl.
Stir in sugar.
Cut in shortening.
Add egg and enough water to make a smooth batter.
Turn onto a floured piece of wax paper.
Roll to desired thickness.
Turn over pie pan and peel off wax paper.
Lift edges of dough and fit into pie pan. Trim edge of pan.
Dip fork into flour and punch holes in bottom and sides of dough.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Ready to use in your favorite pie recipe.
