Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. unbleached flour
    4 c. milk
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/4 c. parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Saute the celery
    and
    onion in 3 tablespoons of butter until tender.
    Make
    a
    white sauce with the remaining butter, flour and milk.
    Break up tomatoes with a wooden spoon and add to white sauce
    and vegetables.
    Add chopped parsley and heat. Do not allow to boil.
    Serves 6.
