Chocolate Kraut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c shortening
    1 1/4 tsp vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. well drained kraut
Preparation
    Sift flour once, measure, add soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Then sift again. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy, add vanilla, eggs, one at at time, beating after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Add kraut and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 35 minutes. Cool and frost.
