Hungarian Marsetti(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger steak
    1 medium size onion, cut in small pieces
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. snappy cheese, cut in small cubes
    8 oz. pkg. wide noodles
    1 qt. peeled, stewed tomatoes or 1 large can
Preparation
    Add 1 teaspoon of salt to 2 or 3 quarts of water.
    Bring to boil.
    Add noodles and cook until tender.
    Drain and pour hot water over noodles while still in colander.
    Brown onion in a pan.
    Add hamburg and brown while stirring.
    Add noodles, cheese and tomatoes to hamburg.
    Mix. Bake in casserole slowly in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven for about 2 hours.
    Serves 6 to 8.
