Lemon Filling For Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash salt
    3/4 cup water
    2 slightly beaten egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Combine sugar, starch and salt in saucepan.
    Add water, egg yolks and lemon juice.
    Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add lemon peel and butter.
    Stir until well blended.
    Chill.
    Use for filling in cakes.
