Scalloped Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium onions
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. American cheese, grated
Preparation
    Slice onions and separate into rings.
    Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Melt margarine and blend in flour.
    Stir milk in slowly.
    Cook until thick.
    Stir in salt and grated cheese.
    Pour over onions.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 uncovered for 1 hour.
