Glorified Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 onion (small), chopped fine
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Chop a medium cabbage and boil until tender in salted water. Add butter, onion and soup; lightly stir.
    Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs over mixture.
    Cook only until cheese and bread crumbs dissolve.
