Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo (white syrup)
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. shelled peanuts (raw)
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook sugar, Karo and water until it forms a hard ball in cold water. Add butter and peanuts, stirring all the time.
    Cook until the peanuts begin to pop and turn brown.
    Have a 9 x 13-inch pan greased with butter. Add your vanilla and soda, stirring while it is forming.
    Pour into pan.
