Tuna Almondine Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 envelopes unflavored Knox gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. boiling water
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. finely chopped green onion
1 jar pimentos, chopped (2 oz.)
2 cans (7 oz. each) tuna, drained and flaked
1 1/2 c. Blue Diamond sliced natural almonds, lightly toasted
Preparation

In large bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water. Let stand 1 minute.
Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
With wire whip or rotary beater blend in cream cheese until smooth.
Stir in lemon juice, curry powder, salt and garlic powder.
Fold in green onions, pimento, tuna and 1/2 cup almonds.
Turn into 5 1/2-cup greased mold or bowl. Chill until firm.
