Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    8 oz. soft cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    6 oz. box strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    2 boxes thawed strawberries
Preparation
    Combine pretzels, 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter and spread in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 5 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let cool. Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Drain juice from strawberries and add enough water to make one cup. Dissolve Jell-O in hot water and add to strawberries. Spread over Cool Whip and chill until firm.
