Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown spareribs on all sides.
    Melt fat in saucepan, add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until flavors are blended. Pour sauce over browned spareribs.
    Cover tightly and bake in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until done.
