Lemon Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    pinch of salt
    1 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. whipping cream
    fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Whip egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until frothy. Slowly beat in 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Beat until meringue is stiff and glossy.
    Spread into a well-buttered and floured 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until dry and crisp.
