Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
    onion (green isn't as hot)
    bacon, fried and crumbled
    shredded cheese (mild Cheddar)
Preparation
    Chop or tear lettuce in bite-size pieces on bottom of dish (about 3/4-inch).
    Cover lettuce with peas; cover peas with mayonnaise.
    Chop onion on top of mayonnaise, then sprinkle the bacon over the onion.
    Top with shredded cheese.
