Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 egg white, unbeaten
6 Tbsp. water
2 to 3 large onions, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
Preparation

Sift flour.
Mix salt, flour, milk, oil and egg white, then beat until smooth.
Add water to make a medium-thin batter.
