Strawberry-Fig Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. ripe figs
    3 c. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Wash and peel figs.
    Mash and mix with other ingredients.
    Let set for one hour.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Makes 2 pints and 4 ounces.
