Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add egg yolks, one at a time and beat well.
    Add sour cream and soda; beat well.
    Add flour and blend. Add beaten egg whites* and flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Line bottom with waxed paper.
    Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes in a 300\u00b0 oven.
    Let set 10 minutes, then turn upside-down to cool.
