Fried Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. ice cream
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sweetened corn flakes, crushed
    cooking oil for deep fat frying
    whipped cream (optional)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    mint sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    Place 4 scoops (about 1/2 cup each) of ice cream in a small pan; freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
    In small mixing bowl, stir together egg and vanilla.
    In pie plate, stir cereal and cinnamon.
