Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in cool water or candy thermometer registers 250\u00b0 to 260\u00b0.
    Add unblanched peanuts and continue to cook until mixture turns a golden brown or candy thermometer registers 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter and salt.
    Stir in soda.
    Pour on a greased slab and pull out to thin sheet.
    Break into pieces when cold.
