Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pretzels, coarsely crushed
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
Preparation
    Mix together pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Cool. Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended.
    Stir in whipped topping and spread on crust.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries.
    Let stand for 10 minutes.
    Pour on top of cheese mixture and chill.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
