Marinated Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large tomatoes
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 clove garlic, crushed
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped or 1 tsp. dried basil
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Cut
    tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange in a large shallow dish;
    set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a jar;
    cover tightly and shake vigorously.
    Pour over tomato slices.

    in
    refrigerator several hours. Yields 6 servings.
