Easy Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground meat
    1 large onion
    2 pkg. or 1 box onion soup mix
    3 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 gal. can mixed vegetables, drain
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add onion soup mix and 1/2 cup water.
    Stir until mixed well.
    Pour in 3 cans tomatoes and mash well.
    Add vegetables.
    Stir.
    Add 2 cups water and let boil 15 minutes.
    If too thick, add more water. Makes a lot but can be frozen in containers.
