Shrimp, Broccoli And Carrots (Sometimes Onions) Over Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp (fresh or frozen, ready to cook), peeled and deveined
    1 head broccoli (use just the flower)
    1 c. julienne carrots
    1 medium sweet onion, sliced (optional)
    olive oil
    garlic
    basil
    1 lb. pasta, cooked
Preparation
    Cover the bottom of a heavy skillet with olive oil (about 1/4 cup).
    Using medium heat, add fresh minced garlic (according to your taste); add broccoli, carrots and onion.
