Horseshoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. yeast
    5 1/2 c. flour
    1 lb. butter
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add 1 cup flour and mix well; let stand 1/2 hour.
    Mix butter and 3 cups flour; add to yeast mixture.
    Then add another 1 1/2 cups of flour.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Roll out on granulated sugar, about 1/4-inch thick. Cut in strips 1/4 x 3-inches, shaped like horseshoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
