Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttered Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. baking powder (sift with flour)
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream Crisco well.
    Add sugar in 3 parts and beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each.
    Fold in 1/2 of milk and 1/2 flour and mix, then add other half.
    Add vanilla and mix. Pour in greased tube pan.
    Sprinkle pan with flour.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
