Hearty Beef And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

4 c. frozen hash browns
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Place potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Brown ground beef.
Drain. Combine soup, milk, half the cheese and seasonings.
Add the ground beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of Durkee onions and tomato.
Pour onto potatoes.
Bake, covered, at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Top with remaining cheese and onions.
Bake, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes longer.
Preparation time: 15 minutes.
Serves 6.
