Collard Greens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large bunches collards
    1/4 lb. salt pork
    1/4 lb. hog jowl
    1 onion, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    salt and seasoned pepper to taste
    pinch of crushed red pepper
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wash collards thoroughly. Remove stems and tear leaves into small pieces.
    Place collards, meat, onion, garlic and seasonings in large pot.
    Add about 4 cups water, more if necessary.
    Cook slowly about 2 hours or until greens and meat are tender.
