Chocolate Cherry Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine softened cream cheese, oleo and sugar, mixing well.
Stir in egg and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts and cherries.
Drop rounded teaspoonful of dough on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until set.
