Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. chopped rhubarb
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy.
    Stir together the dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk to sugar mixture.
    Add rhubarb last.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased and floured cake pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon to taste.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 38 minutes.
