Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp. almond extract or 1 1/2 tsp. orange or lemon extract
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Add
    egg and flavoring.
    Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Chill dough for
    1 hour.
    Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake
    on\tgreased cookie sheets until lightly
    browned,
    approximately
    10
    to
    12
    minutes.
    Can
    be sprinkled with sugar or decorations before baking or iced after baking.
    Makes a very light flaky sugar cookie.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
