Chicago Hot Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck (8 qt.) tomatoes
    12 onions
    3 green peppers
    3 bunches celery
    2 hot red peppers
    1 c. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2 Tbsp. black pepper
    8 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Put in small jars and seal with paraffin.
    Makes approximately 9 pints.
