Granny'S Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. blueberries, drained
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening (no substitute)
    2 c. flour plus 1/2 tsp.
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Sprinkle berries with 1/2 teaspoon flour; set aside.
    Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening.
    Add milk and beaten egg.
    Fold in floured berries quickly; be careful not to mash them.
    Bake in hot greased muffin pans for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until done. Yield:
    12 to 15 minutes.
