Crab Casserole(Serves 8 To 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. or more lasagna noodles
    beaten egg
    1 medium onion, chopped
    8 oz. cream cheese
    salt and pepper
    1 qt. cottage cheese (small curd)
    2 tsp. crushed basil
    2 cans cream of shrimp soup (do not dilute)
    1 1/2 lb. crab meat
Preparation
    Cook noodles.
    Drain and butter while still hot.
    Place in greased casserole.
    Mix in bowl #1 the egg, onion, cream cheese, salt, pepper, cottage cheese and basil.
    Mix in bowl #2 the soup and crab meat.
    Place 1/2 of mixture in bowl #1 on top of noodles in casserole.
    Place all of bowl #2 over.
    Place remaining contents of bowl #1 over that.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Remove and cool or freeze at this point.
    If not frozen, use a topping of grated cheese and a few slices of tomato and bake another 15 minutes.
