Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk
    2 unsweetened chocolate squares (or 3 to 4 Tbsp. cocoa)
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. corn syrup
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream milk and chocolate over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted.
    Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.
    Cook and gently stir to 236\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and let cool to lukewarm.
    Add vanilla and beat until thick and not glossy.
    Add 1 cup of broken nuts, if desired.
    Spread in buttered pan.
    Chill and cut into pieces.
