Deep Dish Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large apples
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Pare, core and slice apples.
    Put them in a deep dish.
    Add lemon juice and water.
    Mix cinnamon with 1/2 cup of sugar. Sprinkle over apples.
    Combine remaining sugar with
    flour and salt and work in butter until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Sprinkle over apples and pat smooth.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until apples are done.
