Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large yellow squash
    1 onion, finely minced
    1 small green pepper, finely minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cut squash in half lengthwise and parboil in salted water for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    After cooling, scoop out pulp, leaving a 1/4-inch shell.
    Mash squash pulp and add onion, green pepper, salt and pepper.
    Add bacon bits and butter.
    Fill squash shells with mixture; sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
