Overnight Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. frozen English peas
1 head lettuce
2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
12 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 lb. bacon
Preparation

Cook peas; bring to a boil and drain.
Let cool.
Brown bacon until crispy; remove from heat and break into pieces.
Tear lettuce into pieces and place into large bowl.
Mix mayonnaise and sugar together.
Mix peas and lettuce together.
Spread mayonnaise mixture over lettuce.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle with cheese and bacon.
