Club Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large tomatoes
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    6 each red and green peppers
    2 c. cider vinegar
    2 large onions
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes and onions; add salt, sugar and vinegar.
    Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add green and red peppers and cook for 20 minutes more.
    Cook longer if you like it thicker, stirring often. Can, seal and process.
