Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 (11 oz.) can mandarins, drained
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Stir together the brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle half of the mixture over the bottom of a lightly grease 9-inch cake pan.
Arrange mandarin slices in bottom of the pan, sprinkle with the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.
