Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 c. raw peanuts
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    In 3-quart saucepan, stir together sugar, water and syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Cook until mixture reaches 232\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
